ABOUT
CCMT…..
Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./
M.Plan. (CCMT) is an admission process for providing a convenient platform for
the students to apply for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. programmes, based on their
GATE score of year 2013 or 2014, in various NITs across the country and some
Centrally Funded Technical Institutions such as ABV-IIITM Gwalior, IIITDM
Jabalpur, IIIT Allahabad, National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology
Ranchi, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology Longowal, SPA
Vijayawada, and Central University of Rajasthan. This centralized system has
replaced the older system, in which a student had to apply to various
institutes and then visit these institutes individually to appear for
interview/counselling. This system used to cause lot of difficulties to
students such as multiple applications, travelling long distances to various
institutes across the country for their respective admission process and missing
some institutes due to common admission dates. Centralized counselling provided
a system wherein the students can fill one online application from their homes
and apply to all the programmes of all participating institutions to which they
were eligible. Overall convenience of students has increased enormously due to
centralized counselling and simplified their efforts tremendously.
CCMT was successfully organized by MNIT Jaipur for
twenty six participating Institutes in 2013 and twenty participating NITs in
2012. This year also, CCMT is being organized by MNIT Jaipur with seven more
participating Institutes namely SPA Vijayawada, IIIT Allahabad, Central
University of Rajasthan, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Goa, NIT Puducherry, and NIT Nagaland
in centralized counselling, thus extending more opportunities to aspiring
students.
Centralized Counselling for M.Tech. / M.Arch. /
M.Plan. admissions (CCMT) 2014 is an on line admission process for National
Institutes of Technologies (NITs) and several other Centrally funded institutes
viz. IIITM Gwalior, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur, SLIET Longowal, NIFFT Ranchi, SPA
Vijayawada, IIIT Allahabad, and Central University of Rajasthan. These are the
premier institutions of the country, under the aegis of Ministry of HRD,
Government of India, for imparting world class technical education. As decided
by the Core Committee, Counselling for centralized admission to postgraduate programs
in all these institutes will be starting from 3rd week of April 2014. This
Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./ M.Arch. / M.Plan. Admissions (CCMT) will

acceptance of the offer of seat and exercise “upgrade Options” (descried

Letter.

has been offered and accepted by the candidate (hereinafter called 'Allotted

‘Institute Reporting’ process. Candidate should present all the required documents
in original, pay the remaining fee of the Institute and take formal admission
as per the procedure of the admitting institute.

Participating institutes to fill the seats remaining vacant after CCMT counselling
process is over. Registrations process for Spot Round would be notified and
carried out by the respective Participating Institutes themselves.
For smooth and flawless admission procedure it is
advised that candidates should carefully follow the admission procedure given
