Admission Notice 2014-2015
Applications have been invited by Centre for
Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) for admission to Diploma in Advanced
Software Development Methodologies (DASDM) course scheduled to be commenced on 19th August 2014.
Eligibility:
Minimum eligibility criteria to appear for
admission to DASDM course is as follows:
Graduates in Science (eg. BCA / BSc, Engg, BSc
(Computer Science, IT and Electronics etc)
Graduates in Math or allied areas (eg. Statistics,
Applied Math)
Graduates in Physics or Computational Sciences /
Graduates in Computing
The candidates must have secured a minimum of
aggregate 50% marks in their examination
Course Pre-requisites: Sound knowledge of Computing
Fundamentals and Fundamentals of Programming is essential.
Candidates who have appeared for the final
examination of their qualifying degree in 2014 will also be considered for
admission to the above courses. By qualifying in C-DAC's Common Admission Test
(CET) of July 2014, these candidates can apply for provisional admission
subject to the condition that:
All parts of their qualifying degree examination
shall be completed by the date of joining the course, and
Proof of having passed the qualifying degree with
at least the required minimum marks shall be submitted at C-DAC by 30 Nov.
2014.
Application form can be filled online from the
website www.acts.cdac.in.
The application fees of Rs. 600/- (Rupees Six
hundred only) is to be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of 'C-DAC
ACTS' payable at Pune drawn on any nationalized bank.
Student can also pay application form fee using
Challan at nearest Branch of Axis Bank.
There is a facility of online payment gateway to
pay the application fees of Rs. 600/- using the credit card or debit card.
The admission to the DASDM course is through a
Common Entrance Test (CET) which shall be conducted through an online software
e-Pariksha.
Last Date of Online Registration & Application, and
Payment of Application Fee CET: 21st July, 2014 (1800 Hours)
Downloading Admit Cards CET: 23rd July, 2014
Common Entrance Test (CET): CET-I: 26th July, 2014
CET-II:
27th July, 2014
