Certificate Course in Statistical Methods Admission Notice
2014-2015
Applications have been invited for admission in the
Certificate Course in Statistical Methods for one year by the Department of
Statistics, Faculty of Science, Banarus Hindu University. The classes run in
the evening hours.
Eligibility:
1. The minimum qualification for appearing in the
Entrance Test will be Higher Secondary ( +2 ) or courses which are equivalent.
2. The course is open to the students of the
university, affiliated colleges and members of the staff of the university.
Further, the students with the special permission of the college / faculty
admission committees, students deputed by the Government, public bodies,
industrial concerns or who are recommended by the Professors and Head of the
Departments in the university are also eligible for appearing in the Entrance
Test provided they meet the minimum qualification for appearing in the test.
Foreign students may also join the course with the special permission of the
admission committee of the college / faculty / department concerned.
The last date for
receiving completed application form in the department is 31st August, 2014.
