of Visual Arts in Painting and Master of Visual Arts in Art History Admission
Notice 2015
Applications
are invited by University of Kerala, Trivandrum for admission to the Master of
Visual Arts in Painting and Master of Visual Arts in Art History offered for
the year 2015-`16 at the Raja Ravi Varma Centre of Excellence for Visual Arts,
Mavelikkara.
Course
& Eligibility:
1.
Master of Visual Arts in Art History:
A
Second class Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from a recognized University. OR A Second class Bachelors Degree in
Humanities with proven aptitude in Fine Arts and its theoretical studies.
2.
Master of Visual Arts in Painting:
A
Second class Bachelors Degree in Painting with not less than 55% of marks.
Mode
of Admission:
Admission
will be made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination,
entrance test and performance in the interview. Candidates who score minimum
40% mark in the entrance test will only be called for interview.
How
to Apply
Applications
for Entrance Exam should be submitted on line available in the Kerala
University website
(exams.keralauniversity.ac.in/VisualArts)
and a hard copy should also be submitted to Registrar.
The
hard copies of the application shall be submitted along with a DD worth
Rs.500/- drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Kerala, payable
at Service Branch, Thiruvananthapuram.For applying to two programmes, a total
of Rs. 550/- (Rupees fifty for additional subject) shall be remitted by way of
DD.
