Executive Post Graduate Program in Management (EPGP) Admission Notice 2018

The Indian Institute of Management, Indore, has invited applications for admission to the one-year, full time, residential, Executive Post Graduate Program in Management (EPGP), with a compulsory International module, which requires the candidates to go abroad as well.

EPGPM is structured to prepare executives for transformational leadership positions. The program is spread over five academic terms in MM Indore campus and one International Immersion module at McCombs School of Business-The University of Texas at Austin Academic Year 2018-19. The first three terms (mostly composed of core courses) focus on laying the foundation for the specialization through a bundle of electives offered in the other terms. The last two terms are mostly electives and other experiential learning. An International module provides an opportunity to develop an understanding of the global business environment and an ability to operate in a multicultural environment.

Eligibility: The program is open to all nationalities. Applicant should have a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in any discipline, a valid CAT 2017 score/GMAT score obtained between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2017 and minimum 5 years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after graduation as on December 31, 2017. Candidates with a graduation in distance education mode from an UGC approved university are also eligible. There is no upper age limit for joining this programme.

Short-listing of candidates for interview will be done based on CAT/GMAT score, Academic performance, work experience etc, or as decided by the admissions committee.

Application: Applications can be submitted online at http://www.iimidr.ac.in/executive-proarammes/ through the appropriate link. Application processing fee of Rs.5,000/- for Indian nationals/US S 100 for foreign nationals, is to be deposited in the form of online transfer/Net banking favoring 'Indian Institute of Management Indore' and the payment details are to be mentioned in the online application form.

The last date for receipt of application forms along with application fee will be 10th October 2017 (Tuesday), for GMAT applicants and 15th January, 2018 (Monday), for CAT 2017 applicants.

Shortlist for Personal Interview (PI) will be announced on 7th November, 2017 (Tuesday) for GMAT stream and 22nd January, 2018 (Monday) for CAT stream.

Personal Interviews will be conducted for GMAT applicants on 18th & 19th November, 2017 (Saturday & Sunday) and for CAT applicants on 3rd and 4th February, 2018  (Saturday & Sunday). Interview of short listed candidates will be conducted at Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai and Ahmedabad, depending on the number of candidates from that region. Candidates residing abroad, who are unable to attend the interview in India, are eligible to opt for SKYPE interview.

Candidates' short listed after interview, will be sent provisional admission offers. Candidate have to make a payment of commitment fee of Rs. 1,00,000/- plus Applicable Tax, within the stipulated time period mentioned in the offer letter, to accept the offer.

Final admission offers will be announced for GMAT stream will be made on 4th December, 2017 (Tuesday) and for CAT stream on 19th February, 2018 (Monday). The last date for acceptance of admission offer and payment of commitment fee for GMAT stream will be 11th January 2018 (Thursday) and for CAT stream, will be 5th March 2018 (Monday).

All the selected candidates have to register for the program by 23rd April, 2018. Classes will commence on 24th April 2018 (Tuesday).

For Indian Nationals, Program fee will be INR 18,00,000/- + Applicable Tax which may be paid in three installments with an irrevocable bank guarantee. If paid in installments, first Installment (Rs.7,00,000/- + Applicable Tax), is to be paid on the day of Registration (23rd April 2018), second Installment (Rs. 7,00,000 + Applicable Tax), before 23rd September, 2018 and the third Installment (Rs.3,00,000 + Applicable Tax), before 23rd  December  2018. Those paying fee in installments, are expected to provide an irrevocable bank  guarantee valid up to 23rd February 2019 for Rs.10,00,000/- with the first installment.

The fee includes tuition, course material, access to library facilities, network /computer charges, lodging and boarding. All expenses towards International travel, visa, passport, lodging and boarding (international) etc. would have to be borne by the candidate. Expenses towards academic input (international) are included in the fee.

For Foreign Nationals, the fee is US $45,000 + Applicable Tax.
