B.Tech Admission Notice 2014-2015

Applications have been invited by Nagaland University for admission to BTech programmes of Academic Year 2014-15.

BTech (Regular / Lateral Entry) Courses:

Agricultural Engineering & Technology

Biotechnology

Computer Science & Engineering

Electronics & Communication Engineering

Information Technology

Eligibility criteria for Regular BTech course (Four years):

1. Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination from any recognized Central / State Board of Secondary Examinations or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subject (Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology) are eligible for admission in 4 Years BTech Programme with minimum 50% marks for General Category and 45% marks in case of SC/ST Category.

2. Candidate with valid JEE (main) score may apply directly by obtaining the admission form.

3. Candidate without valid JEE (main) score must appear for the School of Engineering & Technology Entrance Examination (SETEE) 2014 against vacant seats.

Eligibility criteria for Lateral Entry BTech course (Three years): (three seats per department)

1. Candidate must have three years Diploma / BSc degree relevant to subject offered with minimum 50% marks for General Category and 45% marks in case of SC/ST Category. Candidate must appear for SETEE.

Admission:

1. Admission form and Brochure for all the candidates (JEE (Main) / SETEE / University / PH / State) can be collected from the school office after depositing fee of Rs. 250 /- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST) in the University account mentioned below.

2. Candidate intending to appear SETEE (candidate without valid JEE and for lateral entry) need to pay additional amount of Rs. 200/-.

3. Candidates may also download the application forms from www.nagauniv.org.in  and the application fee must be deposited in the Account No. 30351467507, Account Name: NU Fees / Revenue from any SBI branch and the counter foil should be attached along with the application form in every cases.

Minimum Statutory Requirements for admission:

1. B.Tech (Regular 4 years)

 Passed three years diploma from Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala securing at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology

Applications have been invited by International Institute of Information Technology Bhubaneswar, Gothapatna, PO: Malipada, Bhubaneswar - 751 003 for admission to B.Tech Programmes of Academic Year 2014-15.

Eligibility:

The eligibility criteria for admission to regular B.Tech. programme shall be as per the JEE Main 2014 along with the following additional requirements:

The aggregate percentage of marks in +2 Sc. should be 60% or more subject to condition 45% or more in Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry (taken together).

The eligibility criteria for taking admission to Lateral Entry B.Tech. programme shall be as per the OJEE 2014 along with the following additional requirements:

The percentage in 10th should be 70%/7.36 CGPA or more.

The percentage in Diploma should be 75% or more.

Number of seats & reservation:

50% of the seats for Odisha Domicile Students and the rest for students from other states of India. In addition, there is a provision of lateral entry of students in the second year.

The total number of seats under the Lateral Entry scheme is 10% of the sanctioned strength in each branch along with the carry forwarded back log vacancy from the previous year in the respective branches. Students domiciled in Odisha and possessing Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline are eligible to apply for Lateral Entry Scheme.

The payment details has to be kept ready at the time of filling the online application form, since the details of the payment transaction has to be entered in the application form.

Pay the application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) through online transaction.

You are required to send the following by speed post/hand delivery so as to reach IIIT Bhubaneswar latest by 10th July 2014.

Printed application form (submitted on line) duly signed by the candidate

A recent color passport size photograph, pasted on the application form and three copies of the same photograph.

Print out of the money receipt of the application fee paid.

Photocopy of the JEE(Main)/OJEE admit card.

Photocopy of the JEE(Main)/OJEE rank card.
