Mode of Entrance Examination: Online Based Distributed Object System of 90 minutes duration (1 and half hrs). Candidates can apply only one course. Fees paid will not be refunded under any circumstances

Exam Cities: Ambala, Bhubaneswar, Gandhinagar, Jammu, Mumbai, New Delhi, Ranchi, Sonapet, Trivandrum, Vijayavada, Puducherry and Chennai.

MBBS Admission Notice 2015 (Indian Nationals/Overseas)

Applications have been invited by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry (JIPMER) from Indian Nationals/Overseas citizens of India for admission to MBBS Course for the year 2015.

Selection will be done through Entrance Examination scheduled to be conducted on June 6, 2015 at various Centres across country.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

(i) The Applicant should be Indian National/Overseas citizen of India

(ii) The Applicant should have studied and completed their course in the schools located in India in the preceding two years

(iii) He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December 2015, the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S., i.e. they should have been born on or before 01-01-1999.

(iv) The applicants should have passed the qualifying examinations in the manner mentioned below:

(a) The Higher / Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher / Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology and English or any other equivalent.
