COST OF PROSPECTUS & APPLICATION:
* Examination Fee is included in the cost of the Prospectus & Application forms.
* Service Candidates are required to enclose “No Objection Certificate” from their Head of Office along with the completed Application Forms on or before 06-01-2009.
* On Line Applicants are required to send by post the On-line printed form with the Application Number duly completed in all respects along with the Demand Draft and copies of Certificates duly attested wherever required. Only then Hall Ticket will be issued to them.


JIPMER entrance test
Admission to the M.D., M.S. and postgraduate diploma courses for the April 2009 session.

Jawaharlal Institue of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, has invited applications for its entrance examination to be held on February 15, 2009 at Puducherry for admission to the M.D., M.S. and postgraduate diploma courses for the April 2009 session.

MBBS degree holders who have completed their internship or will be completing their internship by March 31, 2009 are eligible to apply. Applicants should be resident Indians.

Name of courses, method of entrance examination, reservation of seats for various categories, process of counseling and so on can be obtained from the web site : www.jipmer.edu.in

Applications can be submitted online through the web site www.jipmer.edu from December 1 to 31, 2008. An application fee of Rs.1000 (Rs.800 for candidates belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled Tribes) should be paid through a demand draft drawn in favor of Accounts Officer, JIPMER payable ast any nationalized bank in Puducherry. A print out of the online application form with the candidates signature and photographs and the demand draft should be sent through speed post to the professor (Academic) JIPMER, Puducherry, so as to reach the address before January 6, 2009 (before 4 p.m.)
