Admission Notice (2009-10)

Admission to various undergraduate courses in the College for the academic session 2009-10 shall be done on the basis of CET-2009/AIEEE-2009 merit through online counseling as per the schedule and other guidelines issued by the Punjab Technical University, Jallandhar, which are available on the following websites of the PTU: (i) www.ptu.ac.in and (ii) www.ptuadmissions.nic.in

The online counseling shall comprise of the following three steps

(i) Deposit of counseling fees of Rs. 2500/- in the banks designated by the PTU

(ii) Registration for online counseling on PTU website

(iii) Exercising the choices for institute/branch online by the registered candidates

The college has established a Free Online Counseling Helpdesk to provide assistance to candidates for their online registration and choice of Institute/Branch

Admission in 1st Year of B.Tech course is based on CET/AIEEE merit and online counseling.

Admission to 1st year of B.Arch course is based on 10+2 with Maths/Diploma and NATA Test for which manual counseling will be conducted by the PTU. The details of no. of seats available for admission to 1st year of B.Tech/B.Arch course are as follows

1. Architecture – 40 seats
2. Civil Engineering – 60 seats
3. Computer Science and Engineering – 60* seats
4. Electronics and Communication Engineering – 40 seats
5. Electrical Engineering – 60* seats
6. Mechanical Engineering – 60* seats
7. Textile Engineering – 30 seats

(*AICTE approval of additional intake is expected to be received shortly)
