The Nitte University will be conducting an Entrance Test on 30.05.09 (Saturday) for admission to Dental and Medical Under Graduate Courses in its constituent colleges, namely, A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences and K S Hegde Medical Academy for the academic year 2009-10.
Eligibility:
Candidates who fulfill the following criteria shall be eligible to appear for the Entrance Test, namely:
i) A candidate who has passed the Second year Pre – University or 12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together.
Candidates whose 10+2 results are not yet announced may also apply. However they shall
submit the attested copies of the marks cards before 28.5.2009 so that they can be
considered for counselling if they had scored more than 50% in the Entrance Test.
ii) Must be 17 or more years of age as on 31-12-2009.
Registration Fee:
The candidates are required to pay the registration fee of Rs. 650/- through Demand Draft in favour of Nitte University, payable at Mangalore
Submission:
The filled-in application with all relevant documents be sent to the Registrar, Nitte University,
Deralakatte, Mangalore (D.K) – 575 018 by Speed Post so as to reach on or before the last date or may be handed over in person at the University Office on any working day before the last date.
