ADMISSION NOTICE: MBA programme 2010-12

AWES invites applications from eligible/entitled candidates for admission to Two Year Regular MBA Programme 2010-12 in following institute

Army Institute of Management, Kolkata (AIMK): Estd in July 1997, affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology and AICTE approved, the Institute has emerged as one of the brightest B-schools in India.

Seats – 120 (Army wards – 80% and general – 20%). Hostel for boys and girls available.

 

Army Institute of management and technology (AIMT), Greater Noida: Estd. in July 2004, affiliated to GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi and AICTE approval, has world class infrastructure.

Seats – 120 (Army wards – 100%). Excellent hostel for boys and girls available.

Eligibility:
Three year bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. Candidates appearing in bachelor's degree in 2010 may also apply.

Selection:
Based on CAT score conducted by IIMs. Short-listed candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview at AIMK/AIMT for final selection.

Note:
CAT is used for short-listing candidates who apply for admission to AIMK & AIMT. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of programme.

How to apply

For AIMK:
Obtain prospectus and application form by post bys ending a DD of Rs. 800/- for Army wards and Rs. 900/- for General candidates (includes Rs. 50/- postal charges), drawn in favour of 'Director AIM' payable at Kolkata (or by hand DD of Rs. 750/- for Army wards and Rs. 850/- for General candidates), from AIM, Judges Court Road, Opp. Alipore Tele Exch., Alipore, Kolkata-700027.

For AIMT:
Obtain prospectus and application form by sending a DD of Rs. 800/- (includes Rs. 50/- postal charges) in favour of 'AIMT' payable at Noida, from AIMT, Plot M-1, Pocket P-5, Greater Noida (U.P.)-201306 (by hand DD of Rs. 750/-). Only Army wards eligible.

Misc:
(1) Apply separated for both colleges
(2) Prospectus can also be obtained by hand (by submitting DD only) from AWES, Army Hq, Building no. 202, Shankar vihar, Delhi cantt., New Delhi and AWES cells of all Command Hqrs or download application form, from their respective websites.
