Eligibility:

Qualification: Minimum 3 years Diploma in relevant area of Engineering or equivalent. For B. Tech Computer Science & Engineering Candidates having B.Sc (Computer Science/information Technology)/BCA or equivalent. Experience: Minimum two years in any organisation / industry. Or Qualification: Minimum 3 years Diploma after 10th/21/2year diploma after 10+2 in any discipline of Engineering or Equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of three years relevant experience in the organisation / industry in the area in which candidate is seeking the admission.

Examination Centres: Thapar University, Patiala. In case, adequate number of candidates from Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai applies then the University may also consider these as Entrance Test venues Highest preferred Entrance Test Centre available shall be allocated. The Prospectus along with the Admission Form containing the details of eligibility, number of seats, reservation of seats, counseling/admission schedule, fees etc. and other details can be had at the University counter on payment of Rs 1250/- OR by post through Bank Draft of Rs 1300/- in favour of the Registrar, Thapar University, Patiala payable at Patiala from the office of the Registrar or can be downloaded from our www.thapar.edu or applied ONLINE. The examination fee is Rs 1000/-. Those applying ONLINE must send the printed copy of the application form alongwith 3 recent passport size photographs.

Last date of receipt of application form: November 20, 2009

Date of Entrance Test: December 27, 2009

Declaration of the Result: January 04, 2010

Counselling for admission & Deposit Fee: January 09, 2010
