Delhi Technological University invites admission Notice for B.Tech. (Full Time) Programs 2010 - 2011 of DTU (Delhi Region and Outside Delhi Region)

Delhi Technological University (DTU) has been established by Government of Delhi by upgrading the erstwhile Delhi College of Engineering vide Delhi Act 6 of 2009 which has come in force with effect from 15 July, 2009 with its notification in the official gazette.

DTU is committed to attract best of minds for its faculty & students, ensure high academic standards and encourage research & innovation in areas of relevance to industry and society.
10 Under Graduate programs offered under erstwhile DCE shall now be known as B. Tech. programs from the session 2010 - 2011 and admission to all the 14 B. Tech. Programs shall now be made by Delhi Technological University.

Applications are invited from the candidates, who appeared in AIEEE - 2010 and have been declared eligible for Central Counselling by CBSE, for admission to 14 B.Tech. programs under DTU for the session 2010 - 2011.

The admission to all 14 B. Tech. full-time programs of Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering) for 85% Delhi quota and 15% Outside Delhi quota seats will be made on the basis of rank of AIEEE - 2010, conducted by CBSE from amongst those, who have been declared eligible for Central Counselling by CBSE and filled application form for B. Tech admission in DTU.

Other details of eligibility are uploaded on the website : www.dce.edu and can also be obtained from the Reception Counter of the University.

The application form can be obtained from the Reception Counter, Administrative Building, Delhi Technological University, Shahbad Daulatpur, Main Bawana Road, Delhi-110042 in person on all working days from Monday to Friday between 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM on submission of Pay Order or Crossed Demand Draft of Rs.750/- or

The application form can be downloaded from the DTU website www.dce.edu w.e.f. 23.05.2010 and submitted along-with a demand draft of Rs.750/- on or before the last date of receipt of completed application form or

The application form can also be obtained by post but the request by post for the form, accompanied by a crossed Demand Draft of Rs.850/- (inclusive of postal charges) must reach the following address :

Request for application form must indicate the applicant's name, address, the course for which admission is sought and three self addressed slips of size 10 cm X 5 cm.

The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of "Registrar, Delhi Technological University", payable at "Delhi".

Important Dates :

Date of sale of Application Forms from Reception Counter 26.05.2010 (Wednesday)
Last Date for receipt of request for application form by post 07.06.2010 (Monday)
Last date for sale of application form at DTU Counter 21.06.2010 (Monday)
Last Date for receipt of completed application form at DTU 21.06.2010 (Monday)


Applicants willing to be considered for one seat (over and above the normal intake of DTU) for Kashmiri Migrants, who have passed the qualifying examination for Delhi Regions should indicate their preference at the appropriate place in the application form and attach the following additional documents (attested photocopies).

Certificate of registration as Kashmiri Migrant issued by the Relief Commissioner, Jammu or Divisional Commissioner, Delhi.


Proof of property in Kashmir of the parents of the candidate.

Proof of current residence such as Ration Card, Photo Identity Card issued by the Election Commission, Driving License etc.
Apart from the above notice, the other eligibility conditions for admission of Kashmiri Migrants will remain the same as mentioned above for others.

Note :

The application form received after the last date will not considered under any circumstances.

Candidates passing the qualifying examination from a school located in the NCT of Delhi will be eligible for Delhi quota seats.
