Eligibility for admission into U.G. Course :

A Pass in +2 exams (with science for course Nos : 5 to 7) For P.G. Courses respective Bachelor's Degree.

Salient Features of BA (LA) & M.A (I.A) Courses :

Innovative degree courses are being introduced for the first time in India to lead IAS, IPS and other Civil Services.
Syllabi are framed to suit for any competitive examinations like TNPSC, UPSC etc. Multiple choice questions pattern are followed.
Courses are conducted as per UGC Act sec. 22.
M.A. (I.A) students can appear for UPSC exams covering 22 organisations while they are studying.
General studies, Functional English, Personality Development, Current affairs, Mental ability and Statistics are some of the new areas.

Eligibility for admission into P.G. Course : A Pass in +2 exams, aggregate 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

For P.G. Diploma Courses : a Degree in Biological Science from recognized University.

For M.Sc Health Science Courses : Respective Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Faculty of Hotel Management and Catering Technology

B.Sc. Degree Course (HMCT) - Three Years
Diploma Course (DHMCT) - Three Years.
Craftsmanship Courses - One Year.
Eligibility : A pass in +2 for B.Sc. admission, and 10th std. or equivalent for Diploma and Craftsmanship Courses.

All Courses are conducted at K.K. Nagar (west) campus. Hostel facilities available for Ladies too.

Applications for admission can be obtained from Meenakshi University during the office hours (10.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M.) on payment of Rs.500/- by cash.

It can also be downloaded from the website : www.maher.ac.in and send with a DD of Rs.500/- drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Meenakshi University".

To receive application by post, self addressed envelope with a DD of Rs.600/- shall be sent.
