ADMISSIONS 2010-2012

 

Applications are invited for admission to the 2010 batch of the following 3 Courses of the Training Centre starting on 30th August, 2010.

Three Year Diploma in Instrument Technology
Four Year Advanced Diploma in Die and Mould Making
Four Year Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics and Industrial Automation

Selection for the courses at Sr. No. 2 and 3 above will be decided as per rules after two years of common training in Instrument Technology.

All these courses are approved by AICTE. The pass - outs of this centre are normally absorbed by industry through campus interviews.

Admission is open to both boys as well as girls. Hostel facility is available.

Eligibility :

Passed 10th or equivalent ten years of recognized study (or any other recognized higher examination) with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects and scoring minimum 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC / ST).

Wards of Kashmiri migrants will be given 10% relaxation. Those who have appeared in the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply.

Age : Those born on or after 1st September, 1991 (1st September, 1988 for SC / ST candidates) are eligible to apply.

Cost of Application Form including Examination Fee : Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC / ST).

Payment to be made by crossed demand draft issued on or after 15 May, 2010 in favour of "Director, CSIO", payable at :

State Bank of India,
Sector - 30,
Chandigarh (code 1443).

Note :

CSIO Application Form alongwith detailed relevant information is available on our website www.csio.res.in with effect from 15 May, 2010.

The CSIO Application Form is required to be filled on - line. Demand draft for requisite fee must be ready with the applicant before filling up the application form online.

Last date for filling up form is 21 June, 2010 up to 5.00 P.M.

After submitting the completed application online, a print oat of the form with a photograph affixed at appropriate place, alongwith the demand draft for requisite fee is required to be posted to :
