This Institute conducts following Long Term course of one year duration


Post Diploma in Foremenship Maintenance Engineering [PDF(ME)]

Application & Registraion Fee : Rs.75/-
Admission Fee : Rs.100/-
Course Fee : Rs. 150/- per month
Gymkhana Fee : Rs. 50/- Semester (by Cash)
Hostel Rent : Rs.100/- per month Mess Facility : Available at Extra Charges
Guests / Family will not be permitted in Hostel.

Other Relevant Information:

•Maximum in take of 30 for each course.


•The trainees will have to undergo a two-month Advanced Practical training in a reputed industry in Bangalore during the second semester.


•NCTV certificates are awarded to the trainees who have successfully completed the course.


•Placements are provided through Campus interviews by reputed industries.

LONG TERM COURSES

The duration of long-term courses is one year with maximum intake of 30 for each course.

1. Post Diploma in Foremanship – Maintenance Engineering (PDF-ME)
2. Post Diploma in Foremanship _ Production and Industrial Engineering (PDF-PIE)

The long term course are of semester pattern. The minimum entry qualification is Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 50% minimum marks in final year of average of last two semesters.  NCVT Certificate is awarded to the trainee who has successfully completed both the semesters.

Date of Commencement of the Courses:

PDT(ME) – January every year
PDF(PIE) – July of every year

The details of admission to each course is published in Employment News during November for
 PDF(ME) and May for PDF(PIE) Course


Many of long term course trainees have been recruited through campus interviews by reputed industries like

PDF (ME) FIRST SEMESTER  :   1. Inspection and Metrology,  2. Machine Tool Technology,  3. Machine shop Practice (Practical),  4, Material Testing & Heat Treatment,  5. Production Engineering Gears,  6, CNC Technology,  7. Electrical & Electronic control systems,  8. Pneumatic & Hydraulic Control systems,  9.  Computer Aided Design.

 

SECOND SEMESTER


1. Machine Tool Installation & Testing,   2.  Machine Tool  Maintenance & Welding Repair Techniques, 3. Maintenance Management,  4. Principles of Supervision, Industrial Legislation & safety,  5.  CNC Machine Maintenance and Advanced Electronics,  6. Diagnostic Maintenance & Tribology,  7.  Machine Tool Reconditioning theory & Practical,  8.  Human Right Education,  9.  Enterpreneurship Development,  10. Advanced Practical Training/Project work ( 8 weeks to be carried out in a reputed Industry/Institute).

 

PDF (PIE) FIRST SEMESTER :  1. Machine Tool Technology,  2.  Inspection and Metrology,  3. Pneumatic & Hydraulic control systems,  4.  Machine Shop Practice,  5. CNC Technology,  6.  Computer Aided Design,   7.  TQM & ISO 9000,   8. Enterpreneurship Development,   9. Human Right Education

 

SECOND SEMESTER  :   1. Non-Conventional Machining,  2.  Production Engineering – Press Tools,  3. Electrical & Electronic Control systems,  4.   Material Testing & Heat Treatment   5.  Principles of Supervision, Industrial Legislation & safety,  6. Productivity, Work study & Ergonomics,   7. Production Planning & control, Plant Layout  &  Material Handling,  8.  Project Planning, or Tech,  MTM & Value Engineering,  9. Production Engineering gears,  10. Advanced Practical Training/ Project Work (8 weeks to be carried out in a reputed Industry/Institute).
