ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: For Rating G.P
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Pass minimum10th standard or equivalent Examination with science Math's as subject.and English 40% also in aggregate 40% from any Central or State Board
For CCMC Ratings :Pass minimum10+2 standard or equivalent Examination from any streme with aggregate 40%from any Central or State Board, and in English 40% ither 10th or 12th ( in +2 or Intermidiate stage must have in english as subject )
AGE LIMIT: Not less than 17.1/2 years and not more than 25 years at the time of commencementof the .course
MEDICAL STANDARD: As per M.S Medical examination RULE 2000, Normal vision6/6 without any vision aid No Colour Blindness
TRAINING PROGRAMME: Selected Candidates will undergo Residential Pre-Sea Training at METRI campus Falta Industrial Growth Centre, Sector-IV Falta, 24 PGS (South) West Bengal, India.
PROSPECT: After completion of the courses successfully and passed the BES exit examination, Candidates will be eligible to obtain the C.D.C from the office of the Shipping Master, Mumbai (Directorate General of shipping) that qualifies them to take up employment at sea on their own.or through our placement Cell

Selection : On the basis of Personalty test and Interview as first come first serve basis
Admission : Followed by Interview
Fees : For GP Ratings - 120 000/- For CCMC Ratings -90 000/- (Including Fooding,accomodotion ,uniform,books periodicals and PST, PSSR,EFA,FPFF)
Mode of payments : Payments to be made by demand draft or Payorder in Fevour of "METRI Educational Trust"Payable at Kolkata subject to selection .
Instruction : All prospectives trainees should submit the proof of academic qualification attested by the Head master or Principal of the respective school from they have completed their study # #
