5-Year Dual BS-MS admissions 2011 for KVPY IIT-JEE and Direct candidates

Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) located at Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram announces admission to its 5-Year Integrated Dual BS-MS Programme.

Eligibility:

Candidates satisfying at least one of the following three criteria may apply:

1. KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana): Students qualified in SA (2009)/ SX(2010)/ SB(2010)/SP (passed 10+2 in 2010/2011).

2. IIT-JEE 2011: Students obtainign a minimum of 60% marks in Class XII and securing a rank in the regular merit list.

3. STATE/ CENTRAL BOARDS (DIRECT ADMISSION): Students qualifying in Class XII in 2010 or 2011 in Science stream. The State/ Central Boards must be recognized by the MHRD.

Scholarship

All admitted students are eligible for a monthly scholarship of Rs. 5000/- awarded by INSPIRE/ KVPY scheme of DST, subject to continued good academic performance.

Applications for admission are to be submitted online at www.iiser-admissions.in. Please follow the instructions for filling up the application form and other relevant details given in the website. There will be a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST).

Online application receiving for IIT-JEE: 9th June-23rd June 2011

Online application receiving for State & Central Boards: 15th June – 8th July
