Population Studies at IIPS, Mumbai
Applications have been invited by International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai, for admission to various courses during the academic year 2011-2012.
Courses & Eligibility:
1. Diploma in Population Studies (DPS) Course (Distance Learning): A graduate degree or equivalent from recognized Indian/Foreign universities.
2. Master of Arts/Science in Population Studies (M.A./M.Sc.): Bachelor’s degree from recognized universities in India or abroad. Preference for Graduates in Math/Stat/Eco or any social science subject.
3. Master of Population Studies: Master's degree from recognized universities with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade in Math/ Stat/Eco or any Social Science subject.
4. Master of Population Studies: Master’s degree in any social science subject/ Health/Math/Stat or allied subjects from recognized Indian/Foreign universities.
5. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Population Studies: Candidates having M.Phil or Master's degree in Population Studies of a recognised university with atleast 55% of marks.
Submission of application:
Application form can be obtained by post from The Assistant Registrar (Academic), International Institute for Population Sciences, Post Box No : 8307, Govandi Station Road, Deonar, Mumbai – 400 088 on sending a self-addressed Rs.25/- stamped envelope of size 25 cm x 12 cm.

Completed application form and copies of transcripts attested by a Gazetted Officer or public notary should be submitted with a demand draft for Rs. 400/- payable to “The Director, International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai” drawn at Mumbai.
Foreign and SC/ST/PH applicants are exempted from processing fees.
