Eligibility
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA (50% in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) categories) awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.
Candidates appearing for the final year of the Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirement and are awaiting results can also apply. Prospective candidates must maintain a valid email account throughout the selection process.
How To Apply
IMU-CET Application Form will be made available through the following channels:
1) Downloading the application form, information brochure and challan through www.imu.tn.nic.in and paying the relevant fee through challan to any of SBI/Indian Bank branches throughout India.
2) Through select branches of Indian Bank by paying Rs1000/- (Rs500/- for SC/ST candidates). For details of branches, visit www.imu.tn.nic.in.
3) By sending demand draft of Rs1000/- (Rs500/- for SC/ST candidates) in favor of “Indian Maritime University” payable at “Chennai” to “Controller of Examinations” at above address.
4) Direct visit to any of IMU campuses at Chennai, Cochin, Mumbai, Kolkata and Vizag and submitting a demand draft of Rs1000/- (Rs500/- for SC/ST candidates) in favor of “Indian Maritime University” payable at “Chennai”.
Filled in application in all respect must be sent to “Controller of Examinations, Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road, Uthandi, Chennai – 600 119” by super scribing the envelope with “Application for IMU-CET (LL.M) June 2011”
