Applications are invited from candidates belonging to the North-East states including Sikkim, in a prescribed format for admission to Post Graduate (MD-MS) courses at North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences, Shillong (affiliated to North Eastern Hill University, Shillong) to be commenced on 01/05/2012 in the following courses:
(1) Anesthesiology (MD/MS)
(2) Obstetrics & Gynaecology (MS)
(3) Microbiology (MD/MS)
(4) Pathology (MD/MS)
Basic Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates belonging to North-Eastern States including Sikkim and having an MBBS degree from any Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized Institute.
The prospectus - cum- application form can be downloaded from the NEIGRIHMS website http://www.neigrihms.nic.in and obtained personally from NEIGRIHMS counter, Shillong - 793018 till 09/02/2012 (10:00 AM to 4:00 PM), Monday to Friday (Except Central Government Holidays) against a demand draft/ Banker's Cheque of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) only in favour of "Director, NEIGRIHMS" payable at Shillong.
Completed applications are to reach by post to Examination Cell, Directors Block, NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiandiang, Shillong - 793018.
Date of Entrance Test/Centre : 05-04-2012 (Thursday) / Shillong
Last Date for submission of Application Form : 16/02/2012/ before 4:00 PM (By person or by post).
