Applications have been invited for Senior Research Fellowship / Research Associate in the Environmental Information System (ENVIS) Centre on Wildlife & Protected Areas at the Wildlife Institute of India.
SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP:
Essential Qualifications:
(i) Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Sciences / Biological Sciences in First Class with two years of wildlife research experience
Desirable Qualifications:
(ii) Skills in the design, development and management of computerized databases; (ii) Good knowledge of Wildlife Science
(iii) Experience of working in National Parks / Wildlife Sanctuaries
(iv) Experience in documentation and publications.
Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 14,000/ month.
Age: Candidate should be below 32 years of age as on 27th January, 2012. (Relaxable in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ Women upto a maximum of five years).
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE:
Essential Qualifications:
(i) Doctorate degree in Zoology / Botany / Wildlife Sciences / Enivromental Sciences / Life Sciences
Desirable Qualifications:
(i) Proven record of peer-reviewed publications
(ii) Skills in the design, development and management of computerized databases; (iii) Good knowledge of Wildlife Science
(iv) Experience of working in National Parks/ Wildlife Sanctuaries.
Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 22,000/ month.
Age: Candidate should be below 40 years of age as on 27th January, 2012 (Relaxable in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ Women upto a maximum of five years).
