University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore has invited applications for admission to the following Under-graduate degree programmes of the Academic year 2012-13 :

1. BSc (Agri.)*/ BSc (Agri. Biotech.) / BSc (Forestry) / BSc (Seri.) :
Candidates should have passed two years PUC of Karnataka (45%) or its equivalent examination with PCB (45%) and any other optional Science subject or Inter(Agri). In case of SC/ST, Cat-I and OBC (40%).

2. BSc (Ag. Maco.) / BTech (Agri.Engg.) / BTech (Food Science & Technology) : Candidates should have passed two years PUC of Karnataka (45%) or its equivalent examination with PCM (45%) and any other Science subject or Inter(Agri). In case of SC/ST, Cat-I and OBC (40%).
Admission :
Merit for admission is based on PCB marks for Sl. No. 1 and PCM marks for Sl.No. 2. Merit for Agriculturists quota is based on 50 per cent marks of PCB / PCM as required and 50 per cent of Practical Test marks. A Practical Test will be conducted by the University for admission to seats reserved for Children of Agriculturists.

Reservation of Seats : Excluding the All India quota under ICAR, New Delhi, reservation of seats for various categories will be made in accordance with the existing reservation policy of Government of Karnataka. Provision is also made for admission to the Kashmiri Migrants. There is also provision to admit Foreign Nationals / NRIs / Children of NRIs on payment of prescribed Institutional Economical Fee.

Application Fee : The application fee of Rs.500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC / ST / Cat-I of Karnataka State only on production of a copy of valid caste certificate) to be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Comptroller, UAS, Bangalore, payable at Bangalore.
