PARA-MEDICAL COURSE- ADMISSION 2012
Academy of Medical Sciences, Pariyaram, Kannur, Kerala has invited applications for admission to the following Paramedical Courses of Academic Year 2012-13:
1. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)
2. Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT)
3. Diploma in Cardio Vascular Technology (DCVT)
4. Diploma in Radiological Technology (DRT)
5. Diploma in Dialysis Technology (DDT) and currently planning to start courses in
6. Chair side assistant course
7. Dental mechanic course
8. CSSD Technician Course
9. Nursing assistant Course
10. Medical Museum Curator course
11. Ophthalmic Assistant Course
12. Plaster Room Technician Course
Eligibility Criteria:
a. Academic
A pass in the plus two (+2) examination of Kerala or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, for admission under general category. SEBC candidates need secure 45% marks & SC-ST candidates should get 40% marks aggregate.
b. Age
Should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31/12/12. Upper age limit is 30 years.
c. Physical fitness
Candidates should produce medical fitness certificate along with the application form.
Selection:
a. Selection will be based on merit of the qualifying examination
b. Only applicants who satisfy the eligibility criteria as per the marks of qualifying examination and age will be called for interview
Application:
Application form will be available at the office of Principal, Medical College Pariyaram, Kannur and cost of application is Rs.250/-. Application is available also at website www.mcpariyaram.com and by post on sending the cost of application as money order or DD in advance. Downloaded application should carry cost of application attached as draft payable to Principal, Medical College Pariyaram, Kannur.
Applicant shall submit, along with their application, attested copies of the following
a. Relevant pages of SSLC book to prove the date of birth or certificate showing the date of birth in lieu of the SSLC book
b. Photostat copy of the mark list of +2 or equivalent examination.
c. Last date of receipt of application will be 10 August 2012.
The selection interview will take place on 21st August 2012.
Classes will from 10th September 2012.
