COMMON MANAGEMENT ADMISSION TEST (CMAT)- 2013-14 (FIRST TEST)
• AICTE has launched the National level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE since 2012-13.
• AICTE has now decided to conduct CMAT twice a year.
• The notification is issued to announce the schedule for conducting first Test of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for admission for academic year 2013-14.
• The students will be eligible to appear in both the exam and best of the two scores will be used for admission for 2013-14.

Registration window opens on 03.08.2012

Test Timings 9.30 am - 12.30 pm - 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm

Eligibility
Graduates in any discipline or Final year students of Graduate Courses can apply for CMAT online.
Registration
• online from 3rd August 2012 to 2nd September 2012 on website www.aicte-cmat.in
• choice of 3 cities for online examination in the order of preference.
• Allotment will be based on first come first served. Actual allotment however will be subject to availability of the slots in a particular city.

Admission Process
• The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective State Governments for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure.
• In case there is no central counseling Scores awarded will be used for admission in the AICTE approved Institutes/University Departments.

MEMBER SECRETARY
The Institutions /Universities which do not have ID to login on AICTE website can get the new login ID on http://www.aicte-cmat.in after filling the User Name request form by clicking the link placed below and paying Rs 25,000/- + Bank Charges online to get the detailed CMAT Merit List. This link will be available from 1st April, 2012
All AICTE Approved institutions are expected to use CMAT Score for admissions into Management Programmes and comply with the orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court dated 17.03.2011, 26.07.2011 and 01.03.2012 directing institutions to use the specified tests for the admissions of academic year 2012-13 including CMAT- All India Entrance Examination of AICTE in place of State Level examination conducted by the respective State Government.
