ADMISSION NOTIFICATION TO DEGREE AND CERTIFICATE COURSES 2012-13

Undergraduate Course & Eligibility
B. A (English, History, Economics, Malayalam, Political Science, Sociology, and Anthropology):  Pass in Pre-Degree / Plus Two or Examination Equivalent thereto.
Fee to be remitted at the time of admission – Rs 1400/-

B. Sc Mathematics: Pass in Pre-Degree /Plus Two or Examination Equivalent thereto with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
Fee to be remitted at the time of admission – Rs 1400/-

B.B.A, B. Com (Co-operation): Pass in Pre-Degree /Plus Two or Examination Equivalent thereto with a
minimum of 45% marks for Non-Commerce students and pass for Commerce students.
Fee to be remitted at the time of admission
B.B.A – 3850/-
B.Com – 1400/-

B.C.A: Pass in Pre-Degree/Plus Two or Examination Equivalent thereto with Computer Science/ Computer application / Mathematics as one of the subjects.
Fee to be remitted at the time of admission – Rs 6550/-

B. A (Afzal-Ul-Ulama): Pass in Afzal-Ul-Ulama Preliminary Examination.
Fee to be remitted at the time of admission – Rs 1300/-

Afzal-Ul-Ulama (Preliminary): Pass in S.S.L.C or Examination Equivalent thereto.
Additional Optional (Co-operation):  Pass in B. Com  Fee to be remitted at the time of admission – Rs 1000/-

Examination from Kannur University.
Fee to be remitted at the time of admission – Rs 1025/-
SC/ST and OEC candidates are eligible for fee concession and SC/ST, OEC and OBC candidates are eligible for relaxation of marks as per rules (5%).

The above Degree Programs are in Choice Based Credit System.

Steps to apply Online
1. Visit the official website www.sde.kannuruniversity.ac.in ;   
2. Go to the link- ‘Registration / Register as student’; 
3. Select the Course (B.A, B. Sc, B. Com, etc.); 
4. Fill up application and take printout;  
5. Affix one passport size photograph (duly attested by a Gazetted Officer) and submit the same to
the office of the Director, School of Distance Education.

Enclosures
1. Original Chalan receipt for Course fee;
2. Qualifying Certificates (+2 / Pre Degree Mark list);
3. Attested copy of  S.S.L.C;
4. Transfer Certificate;  
5. One copy of passport size photograph.  Send the application by ordinary post to the Director, School of Distance Education, Kannur University, Mangattuparamba, Kannur University Campus P.O, Kannur-670567.
