It is hereby informed that students who intend to join B.Ed/ M.Ed Degree Courses in the affiliated colleges of the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University for the year 2012-2013, before applying to the college(s) are now instructed to satisfy themselves that the college(s) concerned in which they are seeking admission has necessary infrastructural and instructional facilities and other basic amenities are well maintained, valid affiliation and no court cases pending before the Court at present. The District-wise details of colleges of education affiliated to this University are published in the University website www.tnteu.in

Students and Parents are requested to be alert and exercise caution before joining the college. The University will not be held responsible for such of those students who join the college(s) for any such negligence on their part.

 It is hereby informed that Educational Trusts/Societies intending to start New  Colleges of Education, seeking Continuation of Affiliation for existing course(s) and further Affiliation to offer Additional Course in the existing affiliated Colleges may submit the applications in the prescribed format to the Registrar, Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University for the academic year 2013-2014 on or before the dates notified hereunder.

 Last Date for issue and receipt of Applications    : 31.10.2012

 Last Date for receipt of Late Applications with penal fee : 10.12.2012

 The cost of application is Rs.500/-.

DETAILS REGARDING

FRESH/FURTHER AFFILIATION/ADDITIONAL INTAKE 2013-2014

The Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University invites applications from Educational Trusts/Societies for starting New Colleges of Education/for grant of Continuation of Provisional Affiliation/B.Ed/M.Ed Additional Intake and M.Ed Degree Course for the academic year 2013-2014.

The last date for receipt of applications is 31st October 2012.

The Cut-off date for receipt of late applications (*i.e. received beyond the last date of 31st October 2012) is  10th December 2012, provided penal fee paid as prescribed. The details of cost of application, Registration fees and Penal fee are furnished below.

Cost of Application  Rs.500/-

Registration Fees

For Fresh B.Ed & M.Ed  Degree Course/Continuation of affiliation  Rs. 25,000/-

Processing Fees

For B.Ed Addl./M.Ed Addl. Degree Course/Additional  Optional Subject Rs.50,000/-

Affiliation fee for grant of Continuation of Provisional Affiliation (valid for 3 years) Rs.1,00,000/-

Penal Fee for Late Submission

B.Ed/B.Ed Additional Intake /M.Ed /M.Ed. Additional Intake/Continuation of  Provisional Affiliation -                       

Rs.50,000/-

The Registration fee/Penal fee shall be remitted by means of D.D drawn in avour of “The Registrar, Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai”.

All the enclosures to the application should be attested by a Gazetted Officer.

1. B.ED COURSE (FRESH AFFILIATION)

The Managements of the Educational Trusts/Society may apply for the grant of fresh provisional affiliation for B.Ed degree course on or before the scheduled date indicated above. The Managements may request for issue of a prescribed application in the Trust/Society letter-head with a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- and submit the same along with Rs. 25,000/- towards Registration fee. 

2. CONTINUATION OF PROVISIONAL AFFILIATION

The Colleges of Education shall have to apply for continuation of provisional affiliation prior to completion of three years of existence. Such colleges shall apply for Continuation of Provisional Affiliation on or before 31st October of the third year of affiliation.

The Management may apply in the letter-head of the  Trust/Society with a Demand Draft for Rs.500/- towards fee for application form. At the time of submitting the application, a Demand Draft for Rs.25,000/-, has to be enclosed towards Registration fee.

Before applying for the Continuation of Provisional affiliation, the Managements of the Colleges shall make sure that the Norms and Standards of NCTE/University/State Govt. are fulfilled. 

Note:  Application can be had from the Office of the Registrar on payment of Rs.500/- by means of Demand  Draft  drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University” payable at Chennai  together with the  requisition letter on the letter head of Trust/Society.
