Subject: UGC Non-NET Fellowship (2012) for admission to M.Phil./Ph.D. programme in Botany (2012) 

Applications are invited from candidates seeking admission to M.Phil./Ph.D. programme in Botany (2012), for U.G.C’s Non-NET fellowships.  The maximum number of fellowships is six (3 general + 1 OBC + 1 SC + 1 ST) for M.Phil. and twelve (6 general + 3 OBC + 2 SC + 1 ST) for Ph.D. programme.  Selected  candidates will be considered for admission to M.Phil./Ph.D. programme in Botany if they can get a recommendation of registration from one of the faculty members of the Department.  The candidate should have a good academic record with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in M.Sc. Botany for candidates from unreserved and OBC categories and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates. 

Duly filled application forms along with copies of B.Sc. and M.Sc. mark sheets and certificates, may be submitted in the office of the Head, Department of Botany, Delhi University, Delhi – 110007, within 30 days i.e. on or before August 24, 2012 (5.00 p.m.)
