Applications
on prescribed forms are invited for admission to MPhil programme in Physics in
the Department of Physics & Electronics, University of Jammu.

Applications
on prescribed forms are invited for admission to M.Phil Programme in Physics in
the Department of Physics & Electronics, University of Jammu for the
academic session 2012-13. It is a two semester full time course. The total
number of seats available is 10 (Ten). The candidates who have passed M.Sc. in
Physics with minimum 55% marks are eligible for admission.
Application
complete in all respected and duly supported by requisite documents should
reach the office of the undersigned on or before 20th September, 2012.
The
entrance Test for the M.Phil. Programme shall be conducted on Tuesday, the 9th
of October, 2012 at 1.30 p.m. in the department of Physics & Electronics.
There shall be
two papers for the Entrance Test:
1. Research
Aptitude - 25 Marks
2. Academic
Component - 75 Marks
The
application forms are available from the office of the Assistant Registrar
(Forms & Stationery), University of Jammu, Jammu on cash payment.
