ASB's AICTE approved Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) course is a full time 2 year residential programme. The PGDM, designed both for candidates with substantive work experience and for fresh graduates, demands from participants high intellectual vitality, demonstrated academic excellence, leadership qualities and commitment to pursue a management career.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Candidates applying for the ASB PGDM should have at least a 3 year University degree in any discipline from an institution recognised by the AIU, with not less than 50% in Part 3 courses (Note: this is the AICTE-required minimum). Candidates appearing for their final year degree examinations may also apply. Such candidates, if selected, must produce proof of completion of their graduation by the time they join the PGDM.
• Prospective students should have a valid CAT or MAT score to be considered for admission at Asian School of Business.

EVALUATION PROCESS

Applicants for admission are evaluated based on the ASB Evaluation Process which considers past academic performance, extra curricular activities, work experience, if any, CAT/MAT scores and performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. GD/PI will be conducted together on convenient dates in centres across the country.

FEE STRUCTURE

• Course Fee for two years - Rs. 5,50,000/-
• Hostel Room Rent and Breakfast for two years Rs. 1,00,000/-
• Refundable Caution Deposit Rs. 25,000/-

Note: On an average, the combined monthly cost of lunch and dinner would range from Rs. 2500 to Rs. 3000.

SCHOLARSHIPS

ASB has instituted several scholarship for PGDM students, supported by donors, principally the George M Thomas Foundation:

• For high academic achievers: Those who have gained very high marks in CAT/MAT as well as 10th, 12th and degree programs
• For rural students: Those who have completed their 10th or 12th from panchayat schools outside metropolitan or city schools
• For students from the North-East states: Those who have completed their 10th, 12th, or degree programs in the North-eastern states
• For high achievers in the PGDM program: up to 10% of the students who get the highest grades in their PGDM first year will get a tuition waiver; up to the next 10% of the students will get a lower tuition waiver

STUDENT LOANS

Subject to the nationally declared provisions of student loans, all applications from the ASB students for educational loans have been sanctioned in the past by such banks as Central Bank of India, Federal Bank and SBI.
