Applications
on prescribed form are invited for entrance test to M.Phil programme in the
Post Graduate Department of English, University of Jammu for academic session
2013-14. It is a two semester full time course. The candidates who have passed
M.A English examination with 55% marks in case of General and 50% marks in case
of SC/ST candidates from University of Jammu and 60% marks for the students,
who have completed their Post Graduation in English from Universities other
than Jammu University are eligible for appearing in the entrance test. Out of
total seats of M. Phil 8% are reserved for SC/ST candidates. For further
details the candidates may contact the office of the Department of English.
Application forms complete in all respects and duly supported by requisite
documents should reach the office of the department on or before 22.01.2013. The list of eligible candidates will be put up on the notice
boara of the Department of English, University of Jammu on 30.01.2013. No
candidate will be informed individually. The entrance test of the eligible
candidates will be held on 04.02.2013.
