Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Porur, Chennai has invited applications for admission to following Higher Speciality Courses of Academic Year 2013-14.

COURSES AND ELIGIBILITY:

GROUP - A

1. D.M. Cardiology

M.D. General Medicine / M.D. Paediatrics / Respiratory Medicine or its equivalent qualification

2. D.M. Neurology

M.D. General Medicine / M.D. Paediatrics or its equivalent qualification

3. D.M. Nephrology

4. D.M. Medical Gastroenterology

M.D. General Medicine or its equivalent qualification

GROUP – B

5. D.M. Reproductive Medicine

M.D. or M.S. or DNB (Obstetrics & Gynaecology)

GROUP – C

6. D.M. Neuro Radiology*

M.D. or DNB (Radio-diagnosis)

GROUP – D

7. D.M. Critical Care Medicine

M.D. or DNB (Anaesthesiology/ Medicine/ Pulmonology)

8. D.M. Neonatology*

M.D. or DNB (Paediatrics) GROUP – E

9. M. Ch. Neuro Surgery

M.S. (General Surgery) or its equivalent qualification

10. M. Ch. Urology

11. M. Ch. Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery

MBBS Degree & Completion of internship on or before 20.06.2013

APPLICATIONS:

a) Application form should be filled in carefully and legibly by the candidate in his/her own handwriting.

b) The application form is available only in the website http://www.sriramachandra.edu.in  and it can be downloaded and submitted with a demand draft for Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) drawn in favour of “Sri Ramachandra University” payable at Chennai towards the application and examination fee. The downloaded application duly filled in should be sent with all enclosures in a A4 size envelope without folding

Certificates to be enclosed: Attested photocopies of the following certificates should be enclosed with the Entrance Examination Application Form:

i) MBBS and PG Degree Course Mark Statements of First year to Final year;

ii) Attempt Certificate (First year to Final year for MBBS and PG Degree);

iii) MBBS and PG Degree Provisional Pass Certificates or Degree Certificates;

iv) Internship Certificate for MBBS;

v) State Medical Council’s Permanent Registration Certificate for MBBS and PG Degree;

vi) Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate; and

vii) Conduct Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution last studied.

Note: All candidates should submit only attested copies of certificates mentioned in Sl. No. (i) to (vii) above, as may be applicable, without fail.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION CENTRE:

The candidates have to appear for the Entrance Examination at Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai – 600 116 at their own expenses.

DATE OF ENTRANCE EXAMINATION:

Higher Speciality D.M. / M.Ch. Degree Courses Group-A, B, C & E:  30.06.2013 (Sunday) 10.00 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Higher Speciality D.M. / M.Ch. (6 years) Degree Courses Group D & F:  30.06.2013 (Sunday) 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.

LAST DATE TO APPLY: Entrance Examination Application Form duly filled in and securely fastened with the above mentioned enclosures may be submitted in person or sent by Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier Service to reach: THE REGISTRAR, SRI RAMACHANDRA UNIVERSITY, Porur, Chennai - 600 116 on or before 20.06.2013 (Thursday).
