Doctoral Eligibility Entrance Test (DEET) 2014-2015
Applications have been invited by Vinoba Bhave
University, Hazaribag (Jharkhand) from eligible canidates for Doctoral
Eligibility Ent. Test (DEET) of Academic Year 2014-15 in the following subjects.
(A) Faculty of Humanities :-
i. English
ii. Hindi
iii. Philosophy
iv. Sanskrit
v. Urdu
(B) Faculty of Social Science :-
i. Anthropology
ii. Economics
iii. Geography
iv. Home Science
v. Political Science
vi. History
vii. Psychology
(C) Faculty of Science :
i. Physics
ii. Chemistry
iii. Botany
iv. Geology
v. Mathematics
vi. Zoology
vii. Bio-technology
viii. Computer Application
(D) Faculty of Commerce :
i. Commerce
ii. Business Management
Educational Qualification :-
Masters of equivalent degree of a University
recognized by AIU in the relevant/allied subject, with a minimum of 55% marks
for general/OBC and 50% for SC/ST and Handicapped candidates.
A candidate can also apply for the Test under RA
(Result Awaited) Category, if he/she is appearing at or has appeared in the
final year, (IV) semester where semester system is operational or Masters or
equivalent degree examination during the session. However, such candidates will
have to submit the proof of having passed the Master?s degree examination in
the relevant or related subject with the requisite percentage of marks within
fifteen days of the publication of the result of post graduate examination of
the candidate. The result of such candidates will be published only thereafter.
How to get application form:
The application will be submitted in the prescribed
proforma which can be downloaded from the website link: http://www.vbuhazaribag.org/website/phdform22july14.pdf
along with the requisite fees of Rs.
1500/- (One thousand five hundred only) for General and OBC categories and Rs.
1000/- (One thousand only) for SC/ST/PH/VH categories.
Fees should be submitted with application form in
form of Demand Draft in favour of the Regisrar, Vinoba Bhave University payable
at Hazaribag.
Where to send the completed application form and
date of submission :-
The application form, duly completed with requisite
enclosures should be submitted to Respective HODs, Vinoba Bhave University,
Sindoor, Hazaribag-825301 by hand or by speed post so as to reach on or before
23rd August, 2014 (at 4.00 PM.)
Enclosures required with the application form :
(A) Two stamp size coloured photographs (one pasted
on the application form and signed across by the candidate and another to be
pasted on the space provided the Hall ticket/Admit Card.
(B) In case of physically or visually handicapped
or SC/ST candidates, attested copy of SC/ST/PH/VH certificate in the form be
enclosed.
(C) Self address envelope affixed with stamp of
requisite denomination.
