MBBS Admission Notice 2015

Applications have been invited by The Registrar, Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, Chettinad Health City Campus, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Kelambakkam, Tamil Nadu 603103, for admission to Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) (4 year +1 year internship) course of year 2015.

Eligibility:

The candidate should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the M.B.B.S. Course. Candidate must have passed HSC/CBSE / ISCE in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany and Zoology /Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 75% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Botany and Zoology/Biotechnology.

Admission to M.B.B.S. Degree Course is based on merit listing prepared as a result of competitive Entrance Examination by securing not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the All India Level Common Entrance Examination (+2 syllabus) conducted by Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, Kelambakkam, Kancheepuram District and subject to Physical fitness.

Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination the result of which has not been declared may apply but shall not be admitted to MBBS until he fulfils all eligibility criteria. Candidates should have passed the HSC/ CBSE/ ISCE Exam in all the subjects in a SINGLE SITTING. Selection will be made on merit based on the marks secured in the All India Level Common Entrance Examination conducted by the University.

Submission of Application:

i. Application forms can be obtained from the office of the Registrar, Chettinad Academy of Research and Education on payment of 1000/-(Rupees One thousand only) till April 20, 2015

ii. Application form is downloadable from the website link: http://182.73.176.174/chc/course/application.pdf  and demand draft for 1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) drawn in favour of Chettinad Academy of Research and Education payable at Chennai is to be enclosed.

iii. Application forms should be filled in carefully and legibly by the candidate in his/her own handwriting.

Certificates to be enclosed along with the application form:

Photo copies of the 10th and 12th standard Mark statements duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, should be enclosed along with the application form for Entrance Examination
