NEED 2009 (National Entrance Examination for Design)

Pearl Academy of Fashion is a founding member of a consortium of Design Institutes which is administering the NEED (National Entrance Examination for Design) with the objective to conduct a common national entrance examination for Design. The NEED examination will be held in 1st week January, 2009.

Students applying for Design Programmes at Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF) will be exempted from Design Aptitude Test (DAT) of PAF on presentation of the NEED score. PAF will announce the cut off score of NEED required for eligibility for exemption. PAF will also conduct its own Design Aptitude Test, DAT for candidates who may have missed NEED or been unsuccessful in their attempt of NEED. The selected students would be called for situational test and a personal interview at the Pearl Academy of Fashion.

* Your Examination Roll number will normally be communicated to you by mail. However, just in case you do not receive your Roll number up to 4 days before the date of the entrance exam, you are advised to contact us.

* Other centres may also be added, and such information, as well as the exact location of the centres, will be notified later.

* The Academy reserves the right to cancel, add, or change any Entrance Examination centre(s) for administrative reasons.

* All courses commence in August 2009.

* Candidates appearing in their final examination can also apply provisionally.

* The medium of instruction is English.

* The Academy's facilities are available to students six days a week: Monday-Friday (0830 - 1900 hrs) and Saturday (0900 - 1500 hrs) ), except on the days when the Academy is officially closed.

* Any disputes arising out of the contents of this prospectus will be subject to Delhi courts' jurisdiction only.

* Pearl Academy of Fashion is a unit of Little People Education Society registered under Society's Registration Act 1860.

* The Academy reserves the right to amend, change or cancel courses including date of commencement, number of seats, location, course content, fee structure, or any other matter reported in this website with no liability attached to the Academy.
