Applicant should not be less than 17 years as on 31st December, 2010 and must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of Aligarh Muslim University or an examination recognised by the University as its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Further, the candidate should also secure at least 50% marks in the Admission Test.
Selection for admission to the MBBS/BDS Courses will be based on the preference (MBBS/ BDS) indicated by the candidate in the Application Form and the rank in the Admission Test.Syllabus for the test is given at www.amucontrollerexams.com. There is no Negative Marking in the MBBS/BDS Admission Test
Those selected for admission have to go through the medical fitness examination before completing the admission. The prescribed Application Forms and the Guide to Admissions 2010-11 are available at www.amucontrollerexams.com
Application can be submitted On-Line or can be submitted by filling the downloaded version of the Application Form. The procedure for submitting the downloaded from and the procedure for online submission is given at www.amucontrollerexams.com/guides/geninfo.pdf The Admission Test Fee / Processing Charges of Rs. 700/- for on-line application and Rs.900/- for off-line application has to be remitted through a Cash Receipt from Finance Office, AMU or through Demand Draft drawn in favour of 'Finance Officer, A M U, Aligarh', from any Bank preferably State Bank of India, payable at Aligarh. The original Cash Receipt/Demand Draft is to be attached to the filled Application.
Completed applications should reach Deputy Controller (Admissions), Admission Section, AMU, Aligarh -202002 by 5 pm on 8.3.2010.
