Admission to the Programme will be made on the basis of the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2010 of Gur Gobind Singh Indraprastah University, to be held on 6th June, 2010. The test will have 150 objective-type questions with four alternative answers. Each question shall carry four marks. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Applicant should have B.E/ B.Tech with minimum of 60% marks or M.Sc(CS)/M.Sc(IT)/M.Sc(Electronics) with minimum of 60% marks or MCA with minimum of 60% marks. Those belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defense Personnel / Physically Handicapped/ Kashmiri Migrant will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirement, irrespective of the fact whether there exists any reservation for any category of such candidates or not. Age limit is 35 Years as on 01.08.2010.
Those appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided they are able to produce the proof of having acquired minimum prescribed qualifications at the time of counseling/admission or latest by 29-10-10(Friday).The final Merit List for admission will be prepared on the basis of candidate's performance in the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2010.
