For admission to the Master in Architecture (Urban Design), applicant should have B.Arch with 55% marks in aggregate.
For admission to the Master in Planning (Urban and Regional Planning), eligibility is 55% marks in aggregate in any one of B.Arch/B.Plan or BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or M.Sc/MA in Geography/Economics/Sociology).
For admission to the Doctoral Programme in Architecture, eligibility is a Masters Degree in Architecture/Planning or equivalent Degree with a good academic record. Doctoral Programme is offered to (i) Regular full time scholars with School fellowship or Project support (ii) Govt/Semi-Govt Fellowship/Scholarship awardees (iii) Self-financed (Indian/Foreign/Study Leave). To be considered for Fellowship, a candidate should have a valid GATE Score or Govt/Non-Govt Fellowship/Scholarship. Those not having a valid GATE Score or Govt/Non-Govt Fellowship/Scholarship can be considered for award of fellowship if they have minimum of two years of work experience.
For Masters Programmes, all candidates with valid GATE/NET Score will be eligible for fellowship as per Govt of India Norms. Those without GATE/NET score will be eligible to apply for Institute Fellowship/Research Assistantship available from time to time. Completed application accompanied by a Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PH), drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the 'Director, SPA Bhopal', payable at Bhopal should reach the Institute latest by 15th May, 2010. Interview will be held in the third week of June, 2010.
