Applications have been invited in the prescribed form for the Post Graduate & Under Graduate Courses of North Orissa University, Orissa for the Academic Session 2011-12.

Courses & Eligibility:
[Candidates awaiting results can also apply, but they have to submit results on or before the date of entrance test i.e.19.7.2011]

Regular PG Courses:
Biotechnology: Science graduate with Biology as a subject at + 2 level
Botany: Hons. in Botany or 45% marks in aggregate with Botany as a subject
Chemistry: Hons. in Chemistry or 45% marks in aggregate with Chemistry as a subject
Economics: Hons. in Economics or 45% marks in aggregate with Economics as a subject
MCA: From Joint Entrance List conducted by BPUT through central counseling
Physics: Hons. in Physics or 45% marks in aggregate with Physics as a subject
Zoology: Hons. in Zoology or 45% marks in aggregate with Zoology as a subject
Self-Financing Courses:

MSc Wild Life & Conservation Biology: Science graduate with Biology as a subject at + 2 level
MSc Maths & Computing: Science graduate with Mathematics as a subject at + 2 level
Master of Business Administration (MBA): From Joint Entrance List conducted by BPUT through central counseling
MA / MSc Anthropology and Tribal Studies: Graduate in any discipline
M.Lib. & Inf.Sc.: Graduate in any discipline
Master of Law (LLM): Graduate in Law
MSc Remote Sensing & GIS: Graduate in any discipline with Geography as a subject
MSc Bioinformatics: Science graduate with Biology as a subject at + 2 level
Master in Finance and Control: Graduate in any discipline
Master in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR): Graduate in any discipline
Master in Social Works (MSW): Graduate in any discipline
BSc Biotechnology (Hons.): +2 Science or equivalent exam with Biology as a subject

Application Forms:
Application Forms will be available in the office of the Chairman, PG Council / Director, Chairman, PG Council, North Orissa University, Baripada.

Request for application form, by post, can be sent to Chairman, PG Council, North Orissa University, Baripada -757003, Orissa. The cost of application form and prospectus is Rs. 250/- by hand and Rs. 300/- by post.

The application form can also be downloaded from:
http://www.nou.nic.in/ADMISSION%20FORM%202011-12.pdf and be submitted to the University with a Bank Draft of Rs.250/-.
All payments should be made through Bank Draft in favour of the Comptroller of Finance, North Orissa University, payable at Baripada.

Completed application forms shall be submitted to the Chairman, PG Council, North Orissa University, Baripada by hand or by registered post/speed post.
