1. Computer Operator & Programming Assistant
Course Duration: One year
Passed 12 class under 10+2 system. Or duly recognized 3 years Diploma in Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic after 10th class. (Other things being equal, the candidates with higher qualifications will be given preference)
2. Dress Making
Course Duration: One year
Passed in Matriculation or 10th class under 10+ 2 system or equivalent
3. Secretarial Practice
Course Duration: One year
Passed 12th class under 10 +2 system or equivalent with proficiency in English.
4. Hair & Skin Care
Course duration: One year
Passed 10th class under 10+2 system or equivalent
5. Desk Top Publishing
Course Duration: One year
Passed 12th class under 10+2 system with English Typing speed of 30 W.P.M.
Desirable: Typing speed of 30 W.P.M. in Regional Language.
6. Fruit & Vegetables Preservation
Course duration: One year
Pass in matriculation or 10th class under 10+2 system with Science (Physics, chemistry & maths) or equivalent.
7. Architectural Draughtsmanship
Course Duration: Two years
Passed 10th class under 10+2 system with science (physics, chemistry & maths) or equivalent.
8. Electronics Mechanic
Course Duration: Two years
Passed 10th class under 10+2 system with science (physics, chemistry & maths) or equivalent.
9. Instrument Mechanic
Course Duration: Two years
Passed 10th class under 10+2 system with science (physics, chemistry & maths) or equivalent.
10. Stenography (Hindi)
Course duration: One Year
Passed 12th class under 10+2 system or equivalent with proficiency in Hindi
11. Fashion Technology
Course duration: One Year
Passed 12th class under 10+2 system or equivalent
12. Interior Decoration & Designing
Course duration: One Year
Passed 10th class under 10+2 system or equivalent
13 Catering & Hospitality
Course duration: One Year
Passed 10th class under 10+2 system or equivalent
14 Computer Aided Embroidery & Needle Work
Course duration: 6 Months
Passed 10th class under 10+2 system or equivalent
15. Travel & Tour Assistant
Course duration: One Year
Passed 12th class under 10+2 system or equivalent
16 Short Term Course in above areas (not under NCVT)
Duration 1 to 8 weeks.
8th passed and above
APPLICATION FORMS:
1 Separate applications as per prescribed proforma may be submitted for each course. (Application Form for Basic Skill Training Courses can be downloaded from the Website www.dget.nic.in )
2 Each application shall be accompanied by Indian Postal Order of Rs. 75/-(Rs 25 towards application fee and Rs 50/- for registration fee) in favour of D.D.O (mention the name of Institute to which application submitted). If the application is submitted by hand, the applicant may remit the amount of Rs. 75/- in cash in the Institute.
3 Applications complete in all respects may be submitted personally or sent by post to the Institute wherein admission is sought ,so as to reach the
Institute by 4 P.M. of 7th July, 2011
4 Age: Minimum 15 years & no upper age limit
5 Admission shall be made on merit basis.
