Department of Chemical Terchnology, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati has invited applications for admission to M.Tech. course in Membrane and Separation Technology for the Academic Year 2011-12:
Eligibility: The students passing out of Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology
Admission Procedure : Admission to M.Tech. Course in Membrane & Separation Technology will be effected according to Merit List prepared on the basis of valid GATE score in any branch of Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology.
When enough GATE qualified candidates in respective branch are not available the vacant seats will be offered to the non-GATE candidates as per merit based on total marks secured out of 100 as indicated below;
i) Entrance Test - Maximum 70 Marks
ii) Interview/ Viva-voce - Maximum 30 Marks
Application:
Application form for Entrance Examination to M.Tech. in Membrane and Separation Technology with Information Brochure will be available at the office of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University Employees Co-operation Society by paying cost of Rs. 500/- for Open Category and Rs. 250/- for Reserved Category. Information Brochure can be obtained by paying cash or D.D. drawn in favour of President, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University Employees’ Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., Sant Gagde Baba Amravati University, Amravati.
The application form is also available on the website (http://www.sgbau.ac.in/images/news-images/M.TECH-Application.pdf ), such applicant will have to pay the above mentioned fee by Demand Draft in favour of Registrar, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati, along with application form at the time of submission.
The complete application form should reach I/C CASU(Vidyarthi Kalyan Bhavan), Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati on or before the last date.

Last date of submission of Application form duly
