Open Stream Entrance Examination 2011
Applications have been invited by University of Calicut for the BA/B.Com Open Stream Entrance Examination 2011 conducted by its School of Distance Education. The degree courses (as under) are under CCSS Pattern and Date of Entrance Examination is 13th & 14th August 2011 (Saturday and Sunday):

History
Economics
Political Science
Sociology
Malayalam
English
Arabic
B.COM:
Commerce
Eligibility :-
All those who have attained the age of 18 years by the first day of July during the year of admission are eligible to apply for the entrance examination.
How to apply :-
Students desirous of joining the Degree course have to submit application online at www.universityofcalicut.info
Entrance Examination Fee - Candidates enrolled in India : Rs.750/-; SC/ST : Rs.375/-; Candidates enrolled abroad : USD 110
Postage fee : Rs.50/- (Only for those who submit the printout of the online application by post)
The printout, along with chalan/DD (Outside Kerala), attested copies of documents proving Date of Birth, Caste (if SC/ST) should be submitted to the Director, School of Distance Education in any of the manner given below:
1. For direct submission.
a. Officer of the Director, School of Distance Education on all working days.
b. Co-Ordinators of study centres of School of Distance Education given below on
Saturdays and Sundays.

3. Govt.Arts & Science College, Meenchanda, Kozhikode,

Printout along-with other documents be sent to the Director, School of Distance Education, Calicut University P.O.-673 635, Malappuram, Kerala, India. Those who submit by post should enclose a self addressed stamped envelope (Rs.50) of size 30cm x 25 cm.
Last date of remittance of fee without fine 01.07.2011.
Last date of remittance of fee with a fine of Rs.100/- 08.07.2011
Last date for receipt of filled in applications in the office of SDE 15.07.2011
