Admissions 2011-2012
Applications in the prescribed form are invited by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati, A.P, from eligible women candidates for admission to the following courses for the academic year 2011-12:
(i) P.G. Diploma in Wild Life management
Eligibility : P.G. in any branch of Life Sciences with 50% of marks in groups
(ii) M.Sc. Biotechnology (5 Year Integrated)
Eligibility : Intermediate or + 2 with BiPC/MBiPC
(iii) P.G. Diploma in pre-school Education
Eligibility : Bachelor’s degree with 45% in-group.
(iv) Master’s course in Special education (Hearing impaired)-self Finance
Eligibility : a) Candidates who have passed B.Ed.Special (HI) from a recognized University or any other Degree considered equivalent to B.Ed. Special (HI) from any University and/or Teaching Department under any University recognized by the UGC.
(or)
b) Candidates who have passed B.Ed (General) course and a one year or two years Diploma course in Special Education (HI) recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
(v) Bachelor’s course in Special education (Hearing impaired)
Eligibility : 45 percent aggregate in B.A/B.Sc or its equivalent degree following rules of reservations of the University.
(vi) Diploma in Fashion Technology
Eligibility : Pass in secondary education or equivalent
(vii) P.G. Diploma in Family Health and HIV/AIDS counseling
Eligibility : Any Graduate.
Applications:
The application form can be obtained on requisition by post from the Office of Director of Admissions, (Dept of Sericulture), Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati, on payment of Rs.350/- through demand draft only from any nationalized bank drawn in favor of the Registrar, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati. The applications can also be obtained in person on production of Demand Draft for Rs. 300/-.
The filled in application form along with all the enclosures, shall be submitted to the Director, directorate of Admissions, (Department of Sericuture) Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati-517502, by indicating the name of the course applying on the envelop.
The last date for issuing as well as receiving the application is 08.07.2011.
