NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from candidates seeking admission to first year professional degree courses for the academic year 2012-2013 under the purview of CENTAC. Candidates who have already passed HSc or an equivalent qualifying examination and those who have appeared in such qualifying examination during March /April 2012 are also eligible for admission, subject to fulfilling the stipulated minimum marks in the prescribed subjects for the various courses and the criteria for age.

The candidates of the U.T. of Puducherry are eligible for admission in the Govt. Colleges and in seats allotted by CENTAC under the Govt, quota, in self financing colleges. Candidates of other states are eligible for admission, only for seats in selected courses of Govt, colleges through CENTAC. Candidates from other states are not eligible for admission to MBBS /BAMS/ BDS / B.V.Sc & A.H Course offered under Govt, quota in Government / Self financing Colleges through CENTAC.

Application forms along with the Information Bulletin can be obtained in person from the following places & Colleges.

1) Post Offices (Post Offices in Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe & Yanam, selected by the Postal Department).

2) PEC Co-operative Credit Society, PEC Campus, Puducherry.

3) Indira Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute, Kathirkamam, Vazhudavur Road, Puducherry.

4) Rajiv Gandhi College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Kurumbapet.

5) Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Gorlmedu.

6) Mother Theresa Post Graduate & Research Institute of Health Sciences, Gorimedu.

7) Pondicherry Engineering College, Pillaichavady.

8) Rajiv Gandhi Ayurveda Medical College, Mahe.

on all working days, on payment of Rs.800/- (Rs.400/- for SC/ST) from 30/05/2012 onwards. Additional charge in way of commission, service tax, and education cess will be levied for the sale of application by the post offices and commission will be charged in PEC Co-operative Credit Society.

Application forms can also be obtained by post, by sending a request to "The Convenor, CENTAC", Pondicherry Engineering College Campus, Puducherry-605014 along with two self addressed slips and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.865-/ (Rs.465/-for SC/ST), drawn in favour of "The Convenor, CENTAC" payable at Puducherry - 605 014. Application can be submitted online also from 30/05/2012. For details regarding admissions under the NRI refer to the respective college websites, for admission under the other state quota, where ever applicable refer to http://www.centacprof.net.in Filled in applications with all the requisite enclosures should reach the Convenor, CENTAC, Pondicherry Engineering College Campus, Puducherry-605014 on or before 5.00 pm of 19/06/2012. The Convenor, CENTAC, shall not be responsible for any postal delay in receipt of the applications.
