Applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D. Program in Ceramic Engineering in the Dept.of Chemical Technology, Calcutta University. Candidates willing to pursue their research work, leading to Ph. D (Tech.) Degree in Ceramic Engg from University of Calcutta, should apply in the format displayed in the University Website after paying Rs. 100/- in the University Cash Counter (as application fee for Ph. D admission) through a challan obtainable from the Cash Counter at C.U duly forwarded by any  faculty member of Ceramic Engg. 

Division. For this purpose, a written Examination (Ph.D eligibility test) of 1 hour duration will be held in the department on August 16, 2012 at 12  Noon. This will be based on B. Tech Syllabus of Ceramic Engg./M.Sc syllabus in Chemistry followed by this University. M.Sc candidates with valid NET/GATE score and M.Tech.candidates are exempted from the admission test but need to qualify in the interview.

Reservation policy will be followed as per University rules.
