TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (CTET)-NOV. 2012

The
Central Board of Secondary Education shall be conducting Central Teacher
Eligibility Test (CTET-NOV 2012) on 18th November,
2012 throughout the country and abroad. The candidates were required to apply
online through CBSE website from 01.08.2012 to 31.08.2012 and the last date for
receipt of Confirmation Page with Demand Draft in CBSE office was 07.09.2012
and for candidates from remote areas 14.09.2012. As per the schedule of
activities stated in CTET-NOV 2012 Information Bulletin, candidates were given
facility to see the status of their application w.e.f. 05.10.2012 showing
deficiency in their application if any, and could further see candidate
particulars and make online corrections in particular w.e.f. 08.10.2012 to
19.10.2012.
The
candidates were required to get the deficiency removed latest by 19.10.2012,
failing which no request for inclusion of application or removal of deficiency
was to be considered thereafter.
Accordingly
after taking into consideration all the cases received for inclusion of
candidates and removal of deficiency the Board has uploaded the admit cards of
all the candidates for CTET-NOV 2012 on Board’s website www.ctet.nic.in or
www.cbse.nic.in w.e.f. 01.11.2012. The candidates can download their admit
cards and appear for the examination on the allotted centre. This time “No
Admit Card” will be sent by the Board to the candidates.
In case
of those candidates whose signature and/or photograph is missing in the online
admit card, such candidates will be allowed to sit in the CTET-NOV 2012
examination only when they get the photograph and signature on the downloaded
admit card duly attested by the SDM/Group A Gazetted officer/Head of the
Institution last attended and will submit it at the centre. Candidate
without photograph and signature on the admit card will not be permitted to
appear in the CTET-NOV 2012.
Further
all such candidates who have to submit their attested Admit card to the
invigilator/centre superintendents, which will be sent by them to the Board.
Candidates can keep the photocopy of their attested Admit Card for their record
and future reference. In case, if a candidate manages to sit in the examination
without submitting the attested online admit card to the invigilator/centre
superintendent, the examination of such candidate will be treated as cancelled
and the result of such candidate will not be declared.
