NMIMS
School of Business Management (SBM) announces admission to its Two Year Full
-Time programs MBA, MBA – Banking, MBA – Capital Market, MBA-HR &
MBA-Pharmaceutical Management at Mumbai campus and PGDM at Bengaluru &
Hyderabad Campuses for academic session 2014-16.
Admissions
to the above SBM programs are through NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT)
followed by Case Discussion (CD) & Personal Interview (PI).
The
online registrations for NMAT starts from 4th July 2013.
After
the registration, students may choose test date within an NMAT test window
period of 5th October to 18th December 2013.
Candidates
may avail two retakes after first attempt, subject to fulfilling required
procedure, and in such cases the best score which is the total score & its
respective sectional score, which make the candidate eligible as per cut off
declared by NMIMS, will be considered for shortlisting for subsequent process.
Admissions
are also open for Foreign Students and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) through a
valid GMAT score. The separate registration link will be available in August
2013.

2 MBA HR -
Selection process is separate
• Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any
discipline from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the
aggregate in first attempt.
• The candidate must have completed graduation in
the stipulated duration as per the respective University / Institution awarding
the degree.
• Those candidates who have cleared their
graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning,
correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
3 MBA
Pharmaceutical
Management -
Selection process is separate
•Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in
Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, Medical doctors MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc.
and M.Sc.in Biotechnology from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50%
marks in the aggregate in first attempt. Post Graduate degree in Economics,
Psychology and Sociology can also apply.
•Candidates with B.Tech. & B.E. in Bio-Tech.
& Bio- Medical are also eligible to apply.
•The candidate must have completed graduation in
the stipulated duration as per the respective University/Institution awarding
the degree.
•Those candidates who have cleared their graduation
by doing a part-time course
or through distance learning,
correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
•Candidates working in Pharmaceutical Companies for more than two years are preferred.
4 PGDM -
Bengaluru campus
PGDM -
Hyderabad campus • Full Time
Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a UGC recognized University
with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
•The candidate must have completed graduation in
the stipulated duration as per the respective University / Institution awarding
the degree.
•Those candidates who have cleared their graduation
by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence
courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
For all the full time programs candidates who are
appearing for the final examinationare eligible to apply (Provisional admission
subject to clearing the final examination in first attempt and in the
stipulated duration with 50 % aggregate marks) and also producing all the
necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time.
For all the Full Time programs, candidates with two
and more years of post-qualification, work experience will be preferred.
At the time of admission, the candidate should have
cleared all the trimesters / semesters of the Program. No examination of any
previous Semester / Trimester to the final Semester / Trimester examination be
held subsequent to the final Semester/ Trimester examination. No result of any
previous Semester / Trimester examination to the final Semester / Trimester
examination be declared subsequent to the declaration of the result or the
final Semester / Trimester examination.
Those candidates who have passed, or, have appeared
for graduation examination from a University where Grade Point Average is
given, such candidates must produce in writing from the University concerned
about the equivalent percentage for the GPA/CGPA obtained.
It is sole responsibility of the candidates to
ascertain whether they possess the necessary and requisite qualification for
the admission at NMIMS.
If at any stage, it is found that a candidate does
not satisfy the eligibility criteria or the information furnished by him/ her
in the online registration is incorrect, his/her application for the admission
to the Programme, even if selected and fees paid, will stand cancelled and fees
fortified. Candidates appearing for NMAT, Case Discussion & Personal
Interview will do so at their own risk, eventually, forfeiting their admission
for want of meeting the eligibility criteria. In such cases candidate will
forfeit all the payments like NMAT registration charges, Case Discussion -
Personal Interview registration charges, Program fee etc.
NMIMS reserves the right to alter the terms of
eligibility without intimation to the applicants.

Pearson VUE will carry out the online registration
& will conduct NMAT on behalf of NMIMS. Interested candidates have to visit
the NMIMS website for online registration. For appearing for NMAT, online
application has to be duly submitted & payment of registration charges need
to be made in any of the prescribed mode within stipulated time.
Candidates can apply for more than one Programme /
Campus as per his / her eligibility by giving preferences.
The preferences once given cannot be changed later
on.
Note: There will be three radio buttons for
registration i.e MBA (Full Time), PGDM & Both (FT MBA & PGBM). A
candidate who wishes to apply for more than one Campuses has to select the
third option of Both and has to pay registration charges as per the above table.
The mode of
payment will be as under:

The NMAT
2014 will be conducted at following centers (Cities)

The venue details (School / College) at each
location will be communicated to the candidates through admit card after the
candidate has been scheduled.
It is mandatory to carry Admit Card at the time of
NMAT.
Note: The University reserves the right to cancel
any venue of examination for any reason and the applicant will have to take the
test at any of the other venues available. The Institute's decision in this
regard will be final.
It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to
check whether he/she is eligible for the respective Program as per the
eligibility criteria stated above.
Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of the
combination of their rank in NMAT and preferences.
Note: Case Discussion & Personal Interview for
shortlisted candidates will be conducted in Mumbai only.
The result for NMAT 2014 will be declared on the
website as per the important dates available on the website. Shortlisted
candidate is required to download the call letter from our website
www.nmims.edu
The shortlisted candidate also need to bring his/
her NMAT Call letter for CD/PI process
No separate call letter will be mailed.
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis
of the application data in terms of academic marks obtained, work experience,
marks obtained in NMAT and Case Discussion - Personal Interview.
The selection criteria will be based on merit only.
The cut-off for deciding the merit shall lie solely with NMIMS. Those
candidates who have applied for more than one Programme / Campus, in their
application forms, their selection will be based on the merit score obtained by
them as well as on the availability of the seats in the respective Programme.
In this regard, the decision of the NMIMS will be
final and undisputable and shall be binding on all concerned.
Canvassing, in any form for admission will
disqualify the candidate.
All matters of dispute will be subject to the legal
jurisdiction of Mumbai only.

communication to the candidates will be through NMIMS website only.
