Kumaon Engineering College, Almora invites applications for M.Tech Programmes.

Eligibility

 M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering: Graduates in B .Tech/B.E. in (Computer Science & Engg, Information technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, MCA, & equivalent discipline with minimum of 60% marks in the relevant branch. Preference would be given to GATE qualified candidates.

M.Tech Thermal Engineering: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering & equivalent discipline with minimum of 60% marks in the relevant branch of engineering. Preference would be given to GATE qualified candidates.

M.Tech in Digital Communication: Graduates in B.Tech/B.E. in (Electronics & Communication Engg, Electronics & Instrumentation Engg, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline with minimum of 60% marks in the relevant branch. Preference would be given to GATE qualified candidates.

INSTRUCTIONS & LIST OF ENCLOSURES

Instructions:

(i) The downloaded application form should be filled in by the candidate in his/her own

handwriting/Typed form.

(ii) The application form will not be considered unless it is complete in all aspects as per

instructions.

(iii) Reservation shall be as per Uttarakhand Government rules.

Eligibility:

(iv) M.Tech Thermal Engineering: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering & equivalent discipline with minimum of 60% marks in the relevant branch of engineering. Preference would be given to GATE qualified candidates.

M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering: Graduates in B.Tech/B.E. in (Computer Science & Engg, Information technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, MCA, & equivalent discipline with minimum of 60% marks in the relevant branch. Preference would be given to GATE qualified candidates.

M.Tech in Digital Communication: Graduates in B.Tech/B.E. in (Electronics & Communication Engg, Electronics & Instrumentation Engg, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline with minimum of 60% marks in the relevant branch. Preference would be given to GATE qualified candidates.

(v) Please mention the name of the program with specialization on the top of the envelope.

(vi) The filled application in prescribed format should submit on counseling day i. e. 18th Aug., 2013.

Enclosures:

The following enclosures must be attached along with the application for admission:-

(vii) A certificate of medical fitness from any registered medical practitioner (in original).

(viii) All original certificates/mark sheets starting from high school onwards, valid GATE score cards etc. along with two sets of attested photocopies.

(ix) SC/ST/OBC Certificate, if applicable
