Applications
have been invited by The Secretary, Santosh University, Ghaziabad for admission
to PhD and MSc (Medical) Programmes of Academic Year 2013-14.
I. PhD

Qualifications /
Eligibility Criteria
1.
The candidates who possess degree of Master of Science / Behavioral Science in
a subject allied to Bio-Medical Sciences or Master of Surgery or Master of
Dental Surgery (only Dental subjects) or Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent
degree or Diplomat of the National Board of Examinations will be eligible for
PhD Course for all above subjects (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry,
Microbiology, Pharmacology and Maxillofacial Surgery)
2.
The candidates who possess a recognized degree of MSc Medical Anatomy, MSc
Medical Physiology, MSc Medical Biochemistry, MSc Medical Microbiology &
MSc Medical Pharmacology will be eligible for PhD Medical Courses in the above
respective subjects i.e. Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry , Microbiology &
Pharmacology
3.
The candidates who posses degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree
or Diplomat of the National Board of Examinations or Diploma in Tuberculosis
& Chest Diseases (DTCD) or MSc in Biotechnology or MSc Medical Microbiology
or MSc Microbiology will be eligible for PhD in the Department of TB &
Chest
4.
The candidates who possess a recognized Master Degree in Behavioral Science /
Home Science / Nutrition / Master in Public Health or Allied subjects will be
eligible for PhD in the Department of Community Medicine
5.
The candidates who possess a recognized Degree of MD in Psychiatry or MSc in
Clinical Psychology or MA in Psychology or MPhil in Psychology / Clinical
Psychology will be eligible for PhD in Clinical Psychology in the Department of
Psychiatry
II.
MSc Medical Programme
Qualifications
/ Eligibility Criteria
1.
The candidates who possess degree of Bachelor of Medical Lab Technology / BSc
Degree Examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Botany or Zoology with 50%
Aggregate Marks as the main subjects or BSc Degree in Home Science are eligible
to apply for MSc Medical Anatomy, Physiology & Biochemistry
2.
The candidates who possess degree of BSc Medical Microbiology or BSc Life Sciences
or Bachelor of Medical Lab Technology with 50% Aggregate Marks in the above
Graduation fields are eligible to apply for MSc Medical Microbiology
