Ph.D Admission Notice 2014-2015
Applications have been invited by Gauhati
University for admission to PhD Course of Academic Year 2014 from eligible
candidates.
Any person having Master’s Degree of Gauhati
University or from any University recognized by the GU in a subject in the
Faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Management, Technology, Fine Arts,
Engineering Science and Medical Science or other professional subjects of the
Gauhati University with not less than 55 (fifty five) percent of marks or
equivalent grade in the subject may apply for admission to the PhD programme.
Applications are to be submitted in plain paper
stating details of Academic qualification and experience.
An entrance test will be conducted by Gauhati
University within 23rd January 2014 for which candidates have to deposit a fees
of Rs.200/-(Two hundred ) only in the concerned Department / Institution.
The selected candidates will have to apply in
prescribed application form obtained from the Academic Section of the G.U. on
payment of requisite fees, for admission into PhD programme.
Application along with fees for the entrance test be
submitted to the Department / Institute concerned latest by 10-01-2014.
